  16. in the modem initialization script i got with mskermit 3.14,
  17. one item was explained in the accompanying comment by
  18. "modem passes break transparently". the same setting is described
  19. elsewhere as nondestructive/unexpedited (signalling?).

  22. and what does it do in kermit/communications processes?

  24. i couldn't find it in the index of Using MS-DOS Kermit
  25. i wonder if i should include it in the init strings for all comm programs
